Country
Tails was founded in 2004 by mother/daughter team Dawn and Samantha
Smith. They have spent six years caring for Country Tails guests.
Their love for the animals has made Country Tails a trusted, safe and
clean
retreat for many pets.
In 2008, the duo heavily contemplated selling the kennel. When
they finally decided to sell the facility, the one condition they had
was that the new owners would have to have the same passion, dedication
and care for the guests as they did. In late 2009, Dawn and
Samantha finally found the right couple to take over, Dave and Cathy
Contrada.
Dave and Cathy are avid animal lovers. They have had
pets for years and currently have four dogs and two cats. Their
love for animals runs deep and as a result they decided to pursue this
lifelong dream. Cathy has taken a certified dog training
course and has her pet first aid certificate.
It is their mission to maintain a very clean facility where your pets health, safety and enjoyment continue to be paramount.
