We are a small, family-run boarding kennel near Calgary (we’re located in Crossfield, Alberta, just 35 minutes northeast of Calgary). We take pride in providing your dogs and cats with lots of tender love and care in a quiet, country setting that feels just like home. We strive to maintain a comfortable, clean environment where your pets’ health, safety, and enjoyment are always paramount. Our goal is to make your pets feel as at home as possible because we want your pets to have a wonderful stay with us!
Comfortable Accommodations for Cats and Dogs
Whether you’re the proud owner of a small Bichon, a large Rottweiler, or a furry feline, we provide comfortable accommodations with various payment options and pickup and delivery services available 7 days a week for your convenience. We ask that all animals be up-to-date on all of their vaccinations for the safety of our guests. Dogs are provided with various pen sizes (dependent upon their breed and size), daily indoors and outdoors exercise (dependent upon the weather), our house dog food (or your own, if provided), and baths based upon availability. Cats are treated to two-story cat condos with scratching posts and sleeping areas. We also supply litter boxes, litter, and food and water dishes. If your pet has a favourite toy, bed, or treat, you’re encouraged to bring it!
24-Hour Monitoring Ensures Safety at Our Kennel
At Country Tails, we do our best to cater to each pet’s individual needs. We play 24-hour ambient music to ensure their comfort and feature 24-hour audio/video monitoring to ensure their safety.
